Lace 2000 and now
Lace R-XP
I have been playing with the software program called Lace 2000 (and now Lace R-XP) and decided that I can not be the only one who would like to save some time and download files that have been designed by others. So if you have any motifs, thread files etc that you would be willing to let me have - email me
Ruth Smith
To encourage you I have placed the following here for download FREE
Whole files
Lace 2000 version
Insertion piece that has trails and spiders.
Practice your joinings with this piece that can be varied by the stitches you choose to use. See what I have done with this in Torchon Lace making April 2006.

Saved motifs
Save these files into the folder where you keep your motifs, Lace 2000 defaults to its own folder (C:/Program Files/Ilsoft/Lace2000) unless you have specified a seperate folder. Lace R-XP does the same thing so check where you installed your Lace R-XP on your computer.
Ruth Smith can tell you more about bothLace 2000 and Lace R-XP. Update 2015 - And now the Lace8 version of the same program. The good news being that the software comes with many motifs pre installed! Others can be added here

The following motifs are sets saved in a ZIP file. Each zipped file contain the full set of motifs I have made for each grid size.
The last two files listed are the complete Lace 2000 motifs and the Lace R-XP motifs.
Have fun and let me know if you like this idea of sharing motifs.
