I learned to net from my grandmother over 50 years ago. She learned from her mother who was born in Sweden. I designed them to use as quick netting projects to help students retain the skills they were learning.  If people want patterns, they can go to my website

This bookmark is made with size 10 crochet cotton using diamond-mesh netting. The top and bottom of the bookmark is made with plain netting; however most of the bookmark is made with the Eyelet Decorative Stitch. This stitch is also known as Grecian Netting.
