I learned to net from my grandmother over 50 years ago. She learned from her mother who was born in Sweden. I designed them to use as quick netting projects to help students retain the skills they were learning.

This bookmark is made using both diamond-mesh netting and circular netting. The circular netting at the top of the bookmark was made first using what I call the Web Center. The length of the bookmark is done in plain diamond-mesh netting. The variegated tatting thread adds some excitement to the bookmark.
