I also included the pattern, which you can see has one more repeat than the finished product. I started running out of thread and figured one repeat wasn't worth the repeat wasn't worth the aggravation of replacing bobbins aggravation of replacing bobbins. I have been making lace for a little less than a year.

The bookmark is made in DMC Pearl Cotton #12 (black) and #8 (red). It uses 16 pairs, 12 black and 4 red, plus 2 additional red pairs for each "open diamond."
