This pattern is by Brigitte Bellon from the book Kloeppeln Zur Weihnachtszeit.

From:Penelope Piip, An Australian lacemaker in the University City of Tartu, in Estonia
To:Merlene Solis in Colorado, USA

The heart ornament is from "Weihnachtliche Klöppelmotive" by Brigitte Bellon on page 43. I decided I'd rather do a 'pin under 4' edge stitch & added a single gold wire gimp to give it stability

Acrobat Reader version of the prickings

From:Jeanette Fisher
To:Kathy Hensel in Oregon

I made the lace motif in DMC perle 12 and a metallic thread.  The pricking is from a book from the Guild libray, name not noted , I can only remember that it was German

From:Anne Nicholas, Hanworth, Middx, ENG
To:Penny Myers in USA

It is from a Christmas tree pattern that I bought a few years back in Bruges but the pattern is German. I have adjusted the pattern by making it smaller and adding a trunk and beads.
