This was one of my first bobbin lace projects ever and I used the bobbins I bought at the Kantcentrum in Bruges last summer.   The pattern is the Cloth Stitch Bookworm from Beginner's Guide to Bobbin Lace by Gillian Dye and Adrienne Thunder, which is a very well illustrated guide for those of us just starting out.
