I made this lace using my first ever created bauble pattern with the Lace 2000 program with the help of Daphne Martin in 2008.   I chose to reuse this pattern this year for this exchange as it has only ever been used once before. I used Egyptian Gassed thread to give me the look I wanted and chose to stick to white as I expect lots of people might hang these sort of things on a green tree so the contrast will be fine
